How to set up Auvik with ChangeBreeze

Set up your API user

  1. Login to Auvik and navigate to Edit Profile on the bottom left of the menu bar. (Note: The Auvik account should only have Read Only Permisions)
  2.  On the bottom right of the page there is an API KEY section, select GENERATE.
  3. Your API key will be displayed once so store this now in your password manager

Link Auvik to ChangeBreeze

  1. Navigate to Integration Settings
  2. Select Configure Auvik
  3. Your settings should be as follows:

    Enable Auvik Integration: Checked
    API Username: The Username that the API key was generated from
    API Key: The API Key generated from the Auvik user account
    API Region: When logged in to Auvik you can determine your region by reviewing the URL.
    Test Connection: You will need to select save settings before using this option.
    Sync Settings, Managed Devices Only: If you only want to import Managed Devices from auvik select this checkbox.
  4. Select Save Settings once all options have been set.
  5. Once the settings have been saved and a test is successful. Scroll down to the Company to Auvik Site mappings section, proceed to map the Auvik Tenant and select save.
  6. Select Sync Devices Now at the bottom of the page.
  7. Once the Sync is completed it will show some basic stats about the devices that have been imported.


  8. To view the devices that have been mapped you can navigate to Company Management settings. Using the Actions dropdown next to a company select View Devices to see any mapped devices that have been imported from Auvik.
